Expected more..

This concert seemed rushed and unorganized. Musiq was completing his set before people that arrived on time, even got to their seats. Ledisi’s performance and wardrobe was pretty good. Wish she performed more of her popular songs though. For Kem to be the headliner, his set was also short. I didn’t understand how did a soul 2 soul music concert turn into a comedy show/ promotion event. I paid to see my favorite artists perform their music live, giving a good show all the way around for 2 and a half hours not comedy show and timeshare promotion flick. What did I just pay for? The lighting was horrible. There were several lights beaming directly on me and a few people near me on the first level. I was kinda disappointed. The Soul 2 Soul concert was NOT A GOOD LOOK.

It’s worth going again!

I really have to say I thoroughly enjoyed myself Saturday night. I haven’t been to a concert in a long time. Kem’s performance was exceptional. I waited all night to see him. He has great stage presence, his band was very good as well. Musiq and Ledisi was performances was really good as well. The MC was a bit too much with all the cursing. He would have been just as funny without the cursing. Many people got up and left during his performance and never came back. People really need to understand you can have a great time without using profanity.

Horrible Seating -$200+

Was so looking forward to this concert and being with my sister and friend. Once we arrived (section109 R Row CC) only to realize these seats were just about behind the stage. Awful seats for $200 +. Could not enjoy SoulChild as we were trying to work out our seat issues and never could. What we could see of Ledisi and Kem was very little. We were told be Guest Services that the Stage was Re-set at the last minute as normally the section we were in is closed. Do not think I wish to attend another event at the North Charleston Coliseum.
